  1. Please address the carp fishing at night in the next meeting. These fisherman shine their bright lights nightly into every ones homes. This is extremely rude and it would be appreciated if the board would come up with some type of control dealing with this issue.

    • Hi Kerry,

The carp fishing is important in order to maintain a balance in our lake’s ecosystem, as these fish can cripple a small lake like ours if left uncontrolled. However, we do want to ensure we reduce the disruption to residents as much as possible. Please email us with you concerns and your contact info, and we’d be happy to get in contact with you to discuss the arrangement with the carp fishermen and better understand what you’re experiencing.

      Thanks,
      Leslie

      • Are they able to point the lights away from the homes? That is the issue at hand. Other than that, there is no problem.

        • We will definitely speak to them about that!

        • I had same issue last year. They kept coming between my raft and dock and I had a muck mat on the bottom I did not want ripped up. I put my raft out recently and will be watching. I also suggest they point light and spear on other side of boat. Water is no shallower on either side. The lights are annoying as hell. The association better do something or else. This is disrespectful.
