I thank you for sharing your comment and concerns about the meetings. We would never take a meeting cancelation lightly. We recognize that these meeting allow for the best interaction with the DLPOA community. It is for this reason that we only decided to do so after a review and a vote by all who attended the meeting in November. Everyone in attendance voted unanimously to break until Feb. 21st 2018. I checked the attendance sheet to see if maybe we missed your voice at the meeting. I did not see your name, but it could have been possible that the sign in sheet was missed. I encourage you and everyone to please attend these meeting whenever possible. This allows us to insure that the collective voice is making a decision and not just one person as you alluded to above. The DLPOA is a group/community effort and therefore one voice should not be louder than anyone else and should not be able to make a decision by themselves. New Business: Suzie asked if we need a meeting in December and January. Motion made to
skip December and January meeting. Motion carried. Next meeting will be on February 21, 2018.
Secretary will mark the calendar no meeting on December and January, 2018.
If you are interested about the other topics covered in the November meeting (or any other meeting) again I encourage you to read through the meeting notes. If you have questions, please continue to utilize this awesome platform to do so. This will allow us to stay in contact over the holiday season, and into 2018 before our next meeting.
