“Please join your neighbors for the First Annual Duck Lake Boat Parade!! We’ll be lining up behind Amy & Jim who will lead our parade around the lake. We’ll pass all the beaches so everyone will have a chance to wave us along! You can decorate your boat any way you want..even if you just have a flag.. just come out and join us! Please pass this info to anyone you know that’s not on Facebook.”

Just wanted to say thanks for organizing the 4th o July parade. It was awesome. I counted at least 40 boats participating. Many more then I have seen in other lakes.

Glad you are bringing back the boat parade. My family (Parvin) started this tradition on Duck Lake back in the 70’s and it pretty much faded away when most of the family moved away.
