Welcome to the Duck Lake Property Owners Association website! This site is for information pertinent to the property owners of Duck Lake in Highland, MI.

What is the Duck Lake Property Owners Association (DLPOA)?

This is a voluntary association for residents on Duck Lake and those with Duck Lake access. The DLPOA takes responsibility for improvement and maintenance of the lake, both independently and in partnership with the Duck Lake Impovement Board.

What does the Duck Lake Property Owners Association Manage?

The DLPOA manages matters specific to our lake, such as:

• Aeration system operation
• Maintenance of the Boat Launch on Davista Drive
• Lake safety, including buoys
• Water treatment and testing for weeds
• Goose and swan population control
• Fish stocking

Lake maintenance related to water quality and health is funded through special assessment disctricts (SA) collected via winter taxes (view budget). However, funding for many of the other matters managed by the DLPOA comes key fees and donations contributed by residents.
